Charlotte Jacobs

Having earned degrees in Columbia University and UPenn, Charlotte Jacobs has had a very accomplished academic career. Being noted for her anti-racism work, it’s all the more shocking that following October 7th, Jacobs has taken part in protests calling for ethnic cleaning of Israelis by shouting, “from the river to the sea.”

Actions and Statements

Along with taking part in numerous protests that have often resulted in the damaged property and disturbance to the UPenn campus, Charlotte Jacobs was complicit in the antisemitic encampments on campus and was arrested when she formed a human barricade to try to block police from closing down the encampment.

Conclusion

Charlotte Jacobs’ alarming transition from an accomplished scholar to a participant in extremist protests not only tarnishes her legacy but also raises serious concerns about the impact of radical rhetoric on campus communities.
