Akiea Gross, also known as Ki Gross, is a Columbia University graduate and the founder of Woke Kindergarten. Since October 7, she has taken an extreme stance against Jews and the United States as a nation. In a controversial video from February 2024, Gross openly called for the dismantling of America, deeming it a “settler colony” with no right to exist. She has also echoed extreme antisemitic rhetoric which has incited violence.

As an “abolitionist early educator,” Gross has founded Woke Kindergarten, LLC, and established another educational company, Womxyn Amplify, LLC. However, Gross’s approach to education appears to center more on pushing radical viewpoints than fostering inclusive learning environments. Gross’s open calls for the destruction of existing social and national structures raise questions about the implications of such ideologies on young, impressionable students.
