Tarek Bazrouk’s Assault on Jewish Students
In December 2024, during a protest outside Barnard College, Bazrouk violently assaulted a Jewish student by punching him in the face before fleeing the scene. The attack was unprovoked and targeted the student for simply being Jewish.
Shortly after, Bazrouk was caught on video committing a second act of aggression: forcefully stealing a flag from another Jewish student in a threatening and hostile manner. His actions were both physically violent and intended to intimidate and humiliate his victims.
But this wasn’t his first physical attack. In April 2024, he told a Jewish student at Columbia University to “kill yourself”, and proceeded to viciously kick him in the stomach. NYPD arrested him under assault charges, for “causing redness and pain” to the Jewish student’s abdomen.
